Children on Merry-Go-Round

Children on Merry-Go-Round
CSS Description
#1798 Unknown Photographer This photograph and #1799 through #1801, as well as several others in the Dup/Extra print file, were in a manila folder with the return address of Andrew J. Thomas. Neither the photographs nor the envelope contained any information as to when or why the pictures were taken. Mr. Thomas, a well known architect, died July 25, 1965, at the age of 90. He was a member of the CSS Committee on Housing for many years and resigned in 1963 because he no longer felt "able to attend the Committee meetings." Additional information about him and his work is filed in the "AICP-COS-CSS History - Merger and 100th Anniversary" file in a folder with the heading "Personalities - Andrew J. Thomas."
