Abstract
#3097 Unknown Photographer From: Mulberry Health Center Album In AICP 75th "Annual Report 1918" (1917-1918), p. 15. Caption: The prenatal nurse working through the Milk Stations and making a house to house canvass finds many expectant mothers. Instruction and oversight is given to insure a healthy "baby and a well, strong mother. Of the 1,146 expectant mothers given prenatal instruction by the Asso ciation's nurses last year, acquaintance was made with 593 through this community health work. The nurse finds many defects among the other children. Here the nurse is arranging with the mother to take the cross-eyed little lad to an eye clinic for glasses which will probably entirely correct this defect.
