Abstract
From: Mulberry Health Center Album #3098 Unknown Photographer In AICP 75th "Annual Report 1918" (1917-1918), page 14. Caption: NOTE THE BABY IN THE CRIB, a healthy, sturdy American, the first of the five not started off in swaddling clothes. The mother was guided by the nurse as to her own care and that of the coming baby and she is now ready to be guided concerning each of the children. The nurse is explaining to the mother the doctor's instructions as to proper diet and care which will cure the skin disease and bring walking strength to these little legs. Caption: The little youngster in the crib was the first of this little group not started out in swaddling clothes.
