Three mothers from tenement homes in the same stairway have here come together in the kitchen of one of them to receive food instruction. The dietitian is giving them their first lesson in cooking cereals and in the use of a double boiler. There are fourteen children in these three families. Here in their own kitchens the mothers are taught to prepare foods that their children in turn are taught the value of by the dietitian who meets them in groups in the public schools and at the Milk Stations.
