CSS Description
#4033 Unknown Photographer From: Old Men's Toy Shop Album In AICP 75th "Annual Report 1918" (1917-1918), p. 27. Caption: OLD MEN'S TOY SHOP. Where old, old men are given an opportunity, as they say, of "making their way." To many of these old men this Shop means the difference between the almshouse and self-support. It is also available to many convalescing from illness for whom light work and short hours are desirable for a time, not only as a means of support, but also as a help to complete restoration of health and in some cases to self confidence.
