Mulberry Health Center Album -- Crowd in Front of Mulberry Community House
Abstract
#4475 From: Mulberry Health Center Album Unknown Photographer AICP Mulberry Community House, 256-8 Mott Street, between Prince and Houston (see #4338). The cart in the middle of the street is selling Italian Ices. The signs on the front of the Community House appear to be about Community House activities. The two on the right are for Tuesday and Thursday. In front of the curled-up sign on the left is an eccentrically dressed man (flowing robes, amulet on right arm, horsetail hair, and a peculiar headdress). Neighborhood eccentric? Evangelist? One man band? On the second floor fire escape of the house to the left of the Community House, a child has been put to bed.
