Abstract
#5031 From: Old Men's Toy Shop Album Unknown Photographer In "A.I.C.P. 1922", 79th Annual Report (1921-1922), page 16 top. Caption: For those who have reached the downhill slope of life and are penniless or ill, there is Sunset Lodge - the quiet home in the Catskllls conducted by the A.I.C.P. In "The Eighty Fourth Annual Report of the A.I.C.P. 1926-27," facing page 13. Caption: Instead of downright dependency or the idleness and misery of the almshouse, the A.I.C.P. through its Old Men's Toy Shop and Women's Work Rooms gives to many striving, independent-feeling old people a chance to work on as best they can, as long as they can.
