THE NURSE'S FIRST VISIT INTO THE HOME Having learned from the Social Service Exchange that no other nursing service is active with the Jackson family, the nurse visits the home, She acquaints the family with the procedure for registration with the cli nic for home delivery, interprets the need for early and continued medical supervision, and gives the mother a referral to the Home Delivery Service. On this visit she lays the foundations for her Family Health Service, and as she foes forward with her service to the family, remembers to provide for sharing in the planning by all members of the family.
