ASSISTING IN FINAL PREPARATIONS FOR HOME DELIVERY The nurse makes a final prenatal visit to the home to see that all the necessary supplies are in readiness for delivery at home. She tells the family to be sure to notify her when the baby is born and arranges to visit as soon as the bedside nursing care provided by the Home Delivery Service is completed.
